Matt Butler

Vice President of Investor Relations & Asset Management, CCIM

A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Matt joined the company in June 1997 and has built a career spanning nearly three decades in the real estate industry. Beginning with the maintenance team, he advanced through roles in leasing, property management, acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management, developing a comprehensive understanding of the business from the ground up.

Today, Matt serves as Vice President of Investor Relations and Asset Management. In this role, he oversees asset management initiatives while maintaining direct communication with the company’s investors. He supervises the development and ongoing management of the firm’s Investor Portal and is responsible for creating and producing investment packages that support capital raising and investor engagement. Matt also coordinates due diligence processes for property acquisitions and dispositions, helping ensure efficient and successful transactions as the company continues to grow its portfolio.

Matt has been married since 2003 and is the proud father of a son and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, traveling, cars, motorsports, and college football.
