Heath Darwin joined Engel Realty in 2010 after spending five years with AT&T Mobility, where he developed a strong background in sales and customer service. He began his career with Engel in leasing and has since held a variety of roles throughout the company, giving him hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of multifamily operations. His experience in both operations and technology allows him to bridge the gap between people, processes, and systems while helping teams work more effectively.
Over the years, Heath has helped lead property renovations, new construction lease-ups, acquisitions, software implementations, and operational initiatives across Engel Realty’s portfolio. His ability to blend operational knowledge with technology has made him a valuable resource for both on-site teams and ownership groups.
Today, Heath serves as Vice President of Reporting & Information Technology, where he focuses on reporting, process improvement, software integrations, and technology solutions that help teams work more efficiently and make informed decisions. He enjoys finding practical ways to use technology to simplify processes and improve day-to-day operations.
Outside of work, Heath enjoys spending time at Smith Lake, working on home projects, and keeping up with the latest technology trends. He is also actively involved with several charitable organizations and fundraising events, including Wake The World, the Smith Lake Poker Run, and Crestwood Crawl, supporting causes that are important to him and the communities he serves. Through these efforts, he enjoys giving back to the community while helping support causes that make a meaningful impact throughout the region.
